SOCIALIZE YOUR EMERGENCY KIT

TCEP volunteers all live in the Canyon and we are a social bunch. So TCEP posts regularly, but not obnoxiously often, on both Twitter and Facebook.

In addition to feeding the public a steady diet of emergency preparedness tips, resources, Red Flag warnings, and interesting links, our social media team promotes emergency preparedness events hosted by our coalition partners and posts information on smaller canyon incidents such as easily contained brushfires, house fires, and sometimes major traffic incidents.

This regular information flow is why we encourage people to fire up Twitter and other social channels to get real time updates during an emergency. Want to know how to make Twitter part of your emergency kit? Download our step-by-step guide.

ARE YOU A SOCIAL MEDIA MAVEN?

If you’re good at managing social accounts, researching and writing newsletter or blog articles, and overflowing with ideas on how to build out TCEP’s social media and public relations presence, shoot us an email.
