INCIDENT ACTIVATION NOTIFICATIONS

Terms and Conditions

1. TCEP Duty Officers will notify team leaders and other select volunteers via SMS text message when an emergency incident requires TCEP to be activated. The notifications will be brief, stating the level of activation and requesting that recipients confirm their availability through the appropriate TCEP Emergency Operations WhatsApp channel.
2. The number of messages you will receive will vary depending on the number of relevant emergency incidents that occur. Since these messages are strictly meant to inform you of TCEP’s level of activation, it is reasonable to expect that you will receive fewer than 20 messages each year.
3. You can cancel the SMS service at any time by sending an email to: dutyofficer@tcep.org. We will send you an email reply confirming that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages through this program.
4. If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program, send an email to: it@tcep.org.
5. Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
